Occupation and Health is a semimonthly journal founded in 1985. It is jointly sponsored by Tianjin Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Chinese Preventive Medicine Association. It is a national comprehensive medical academic journal in preventive medicine and openly published at home and abroad.
The purpose of the publication of Occupation and Health is to put people first, cherish the occupational health rights and interests of individuals, and combine academic research with practicality as its characteristic. It studies and exchanges scientific approaches and successful measures to protect the physical health of various occupational groups, and researches and exchanges various experimental and clinical experiences in the prevention, treatment, and control of occupational diseases, making greater contributions to improving the occupational health level of Chinese people and even all mankind.
As an all-round medical journal, the central content of Occupation and Health is occupational medicine, prevention and health care, and basic medicine, including the summary, presentation, and exchange of scientific experiments and clinical practice experience in occupational health and disease prevention, healthcare, and other areas. The main columns are Treatise(Occupational Health and Occupational Diseases, Experiments·Monitoring and Inspection, Food Safety and Nutrition, Epidemiology and Preventive Health Care, Environment and Health, School Health, Literature Analysis), Investigation and Research, Health Management and Research, Overview, etc. The published papers involve basic research on the impact of occupational and environmental harmful factors on the human body, occupational epidemiology and on-site labor hygiene surveys, clinical analysis and new diagnosis and treatment methods for occupational diseases, on-site rescue and clinical treatment of chemical poisoning accidents, industrial hygiene management and hygiene standards, hygienic toxicology research, environmental harmful factor monitoring technology, labor safety protection, engineering technology and evaluation,investigations and research on occupation-related diseases or new hazardous factors, food safety and nutrition, school health, etc.
Occupation and Health is one of the important publications of the "Chinese Preventive Medicine Association".
