Construction of the questionnaire on adherence to occupational HIV post-exposure prophylactic regimens among healthcare personnel

Abstract: Objective To construct the questionnaire on adherence to occupational human immunodeficiency virus(HIV) post-exposure prophylactic regimens among healthcare personal,providing reference basis for the prevention of HIV occupational exposure among healthcare workers in the next step. Methods The questionnaire item pool was preliminarily formulated based on literature review and group discussion. Two rounds of expert inquiry were conducted from August to October 2020 to screen and modify questionnaire entries. Results The effective recovery rate of the two rounds of consultation was 100%. The authority coefficients were 0.860 and 0.820,and the coordination coefficients were 0.257 and 0.387. The questionnaire on adherence to occupational HIV post-exposure prophylactic regimens among healthcare personal was formulated after two rounds of consultation. There were 50 items in total,including the general information of exposed persons,the information of post-exposure prophylactic medication,and the influencing factors of medication adherence. Conclusion The questionnaire is reasonable,comprehensible,and can be used as a tool to evaluate the adherence to occupational HIV post-exposure prophylactic regimens.
