Abstract: Objective To investigate the status of health-promoting lifestyle(HPL),work stress and life satisfaction in medical staff and explore their relationships under the background of normalized epidemic prevention and control againts coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19). Methods Totally 292 medical workers in Jinan City of Shandong Province were selected as research objects by convenience sampling method from January to March 2022,they were investigated by using the general information questionnaire, health promotion lifestyle scale, scale for occupation stressor and life satisfaction scale, and the data were analyzed. Results Under the background of normalized epidemic prevention and control againts COVID-19,the score of HPL in medical staff was (131.92±28.29)points,and the score of work stress was (94.59±18.58)points. 68.84% of medical workers were satisfied with their lives, and there were statistically significant differences in life satisfaction among medical workers of different age and living style(all P<0.05). The work stress of medical workers was negatively correlated with HPL and life satisfaction(r=-0.250,-0.289,both P<0.01),and the HPL was positively correlated with life satisfaction(r=0.533,P<0.01). The HPL of medical staff played a partial mediating role between work stress and life satisfaction, accounting for 42.56% of the total effect. Conclusion The work stress of medical staff can directly affect their life satisfaction, and it can also indirectly affect life satisfaction through the mediating effect of HPL.
