Abstract: With the development of actual combat training of naval aviation, the take-off and landing tasks of carrier-borne aircraft pilots are more and more frequent, which are vulnerable to the effect of horizontal acceleration, which has a negative impact on the health of pilots. Therefore, focusing on the cumulative acceleration damage effect is the focus of carrier-borne aviation medicine research. The paper summarizes the characteristics of horizontal acceleration during take-off and landing of carrier-borne aircraft, and the impact of horizontal acceleration on pilots' cardiopulmonary function, visual function, and neck function, reviews the research progress of protective measures against impacts, and clarifies the mechanism of horizontal acceleration and its damage effects,in order to provide theoretical basis for aviation support workers to strengthen targeted guard security, and improve the pilot's operation effect, maintain the pilot's occupational health, prolong occupational life, promote combat effectiveness.
