There were statistically significant differences in the quality of life scores of medical workers with chronic shoulder, neck and back pain in terms of different gender, working years, professional category, economic income, night shift rotation, chronic disease status, sleep quality and work pressure(all P<0.05). The quality of life of medical workers with chronic shoulder, neck and back pain was negatively correlated with the score of job insecurity(r=-0.296--0.694,all P<0.05),and positively correlated with social capital score(r=0.269-0.663,all P<0.05). Economic income, sleep quality, work stress, job insecurity and social capital were the main influencing factors of the quality of life of medical workers with chronic shoulder, neck and back pain in tertiary general hospitals. Among them, job insecurity and social capital had a significant predictive effect(β=-0.351,0.546,both P<0.05),which independently explained 46.9% of the influencing factors of quality of life. Conclusion The quality of life of medical workers with chronic shoulder, neck and back pain in tertiary hospitals in Mianyang is relatively low,job insecurity is an important risk factor, and social capital is an important protective resource.
