Abstract: Objective To analyze the research dynamics and trends in the field of disaster nursing education and training in China through bibliometric methods, and to provide a reference basis for research on disaster nursing education in China. Methods CiteSpace 6.2.R6 software was used to visualize and analyze the literature related to the field of disaster nursing education and training research in China that was publicly available in the three major databases, namely,China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),Wanfang, and VIP from January 2013 to December 2023. Results A total of 460 articles were included, with a general fluctuating upward trend in the number of publications, which peaked in 2014(90 articles). The Nursing Department of the Union Hospital of Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology and the Nursing Department of Lanzhou General Hospital of Lanzhou Military Region were active institutions in this field, and the contributions of authors such as LU Hao and ZHANG Hua were more significant, but there was a certain lack of collaboration between institutions and authors. High-frequency keywords included nurses, disasters, disaster relief, nursing, nursing staff, influencing factors, core competencies, emergency nurses, education, and clinical nurses;Keyword clustering mainly included four major categories:research object, research content, education and training methods, and type of literature study;the keyword with the greatest emergent strength was influencing factors(Strength=6.91). Conclusion Domestic research on disaster care education and training is still in its initial stage, and core competencies and influencing factors are the hot spots of research. In the future, research should be further deepened to meet the growing demand for disaster education and to address new challenges. This includes exploring new educational models, training methods and professional standards for disaster care to enhance overall disaster care capacity.
