Abstract: Objective To investigate the pollution status of pathogenic Vibrio in aquatic products in Cangzhou City, provide data support for the prevention and control of foodborne diseases and monitoring of food poisoning. Methods The samples of aquatic products in Cangzhou City in 2021 were collected by random sampling. According to the methods of National work manual for risk monitoring of food contamination and harmful factors, four kinds of pathogenic Vibrio were detected, the virulence genes of Vibrio cholerae and Vibrio parahaemolyticus were determined, and the Vibrio cholerae was serotyped. Results The pathogenic Vibrio was detected in 74 of 220 aquatic products, and the detection rate was 33.64%. The detection rate of Vibrio parahaemolyticus,Vibrio alginolyticus,Vibrio cholerae and Vibrio vulnificus was 22.73%,7.27%,2.73% and 0.91%,respectively. All 50 strains of Vibrio parahaemolyticus isolated carried the tlh genotype, but did not carry the tdh and trh genes. The six strains of Vibrio cholerae were non-O1/O139 group, and the ctx virulence gene was negative. Conclusions In 2021,there is pathogenic Vibrio contamination in some aquatic products in Cangzhou City, mainly Vibrio parahaemolyticus and Vibrio alginolyticus. The market supervision department should strengthen the supervision of various aquatic products to reduce the risk of foodborne diseases caused by pathogenic Vibrio.
