Grey correlation analysis on attractiveness to high-level talents in Nantong Center for Disease Control and Prevention

Abstract: Objective To study the changing trend of talent structure in Nantong Center for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC) from 2015 to 2020 and the attractiveness to foreign high-level talents,so as to optimize the structure and stability of disease control talents. Methods The grey correlation analysis method is used to analyze the influencing factors of the attractiveness to high-level talents in Nantong CDC from 2015 to 2020. Results There was a strong positive correlation between the development level and the attractiveness to high-level talents of Nantong CDC. The correlation between the proportion of people with master degree or above and the attractiveness to high-level talents was 0.984,ranking first. The correlation between average annual per capita salary and the attractiveness to high-level talents was 0.938,ranking second. There was a strong positive correlation between local gross domestic product(GDP) of Nantong City the attractiveness to high-level talents,which the correlation was 0.921, ranking third among all factors. The attractiveness to high-level talents was not strongly related to the personnel mobility. The grey correlation of the retired and new recruits to the attractiveness of high-level talents in Nantong City was 0.657 and 0.737 respectively, ranking eighth and ninth respectively. Conclusion It is necessary to improve the personnel training system and enhance the attractiveness to preventive medicine to talents,implement the subsidy for disease control personnel and gradually improve the salary of public health personnel,aim at the frontier of science and technology and build a first-class disease control brand.
