Visual analysis of the integration of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine into public health

Abstract: Objective To judge the research hotspots and trends of the integration of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine into public health,and provide reference for in-depth research in this field. Methods With the help of CiteSpace,the relevant literature of CNKI and Web of Science core collection databases was analyzed. The search time was from the establishment of the library to December 20,2022. Results A total of 63 valid literature Chinese and 157 English literature were included. The number of publications in Chinese and English literature showed an overall upward trend,peaking in 2020 and 2021 respectively,and neither database formed a core author group and there was a lack of cooperation between institutions. Combined with the frequency of occurrence of keywords and the degree of intermediary centrality,the high-frequency keywords of great significance in Chinese literature were "traditional Chinese medicine","public health" and "epidemic prevention and control",and the high-frequency keywords of great significance in English literature were "alternative medicine" and "complementary". Conclusions The research content of integrating integrated Chinese and Western medicine into public health is gradually improving and will change with the environment. It is necessary to further strengthen the cooperation in cross-regional research,improve the application and transformation of the research results of integrated Chinese and Western medicine,strengthen evidence-based research on integrated Chinese and Western medicine,and attach importance to the construction of the discipline of integrated Chinese and Western medicine in the future.
