Investigation on current status and influencing factors of disaster nursing emergency ability of nursing personnel in Xinjiang Public Health Emergency Alliance

Abstract: Objective To investigate the current status of disaster nursing emergency response ability of nursing staff in Xinjiang Public Health Emergency Alliance,analyze the influencing factors,and provide decision-making reference for improving the disaster nursing emergency response ability of nursing staff. Methods A total of 496 nurses from 7 tertiary hospitals and 3 secondary hospitals in Xinjiang public health emergency collaborative treatment system in 2022 were selected as the research objects. The general information questionnaire,disaster nursing emergency ability evaluation scale and psychological resilience scale were completed in the form of online anonymous self-evaluation,and the influencing factors of disaster emergency ability were analyzed. Result The total score of disaster nursing emergency response ability of nursing staff was (173.15±22.31)points,with an average of (3.13±0.52)points,which was at the medium level. Among the three dimensions,the average score of disaster preparedness and prevention dimension was the highest[(3.33±0.27)points],and the average score of post disaster recovery dimension was the lowest[(2.75±0.13)points]. There was a positive correlation between psychological resilience and disaster nursing emergency response ability(r=0.599-0.714,all P<0.01). Hospital level,disaster drilling experience,disaster rescue experience,and the nature of the disaster area were the main influencing factors of disaster nursing emergency response ability of nurses in Xinjiang Public Health Emergency Alliance. Conclusion The nursing staff of the Xinjiang Public Health Emergency Alliance have strong capabilities in preventing nuclear radiation and infectious disease.However,there may be issues such as inadequate communication mechanisms and ethical conflicts during the rescue process.
