Abstract: Objective To explore the relationship among the cognitive level,self-efficacy and social support in the elderly in community,so as to provide ideas and basis for the cognitive health management of the elderly people in community. Methods From May to August 2022,the Montreal cognitive assessment(MoCA),the general self-efficacy scale(GSES) and the social support rating scale(SSRS) were used to investigate 92 elderly people in community in Wuhan City. Results The average MoCA score of 92 elderly people in community was (22.74±4.99)points,indicating that 61.5% of them had cognitive function decline. The correlation analysis showed that cognitive function was significantly correlated with self-efficacy and social support(both P<0.05),while self-efficacy was not significantly correlated with social support(P>0.05). Conclusions The proportion of elderly people with cognitive decline in the community in Wuhan City is relatively high, the self-efficacy and social support are important factors affecting the cognitive level of the elderly people in community. In the future,it is feasible to improve the self-efficacy and social support of the elderly who live in community to prevent their cognitive decline.
