The differences in the scores of technical stress, psychological capital and job burnout were statistically significant among operating room nurses in different age, years of work, professional title, marital status, average monthly income, average number of monthly night shifts and average weekly working hours(all P<0.05). The higher the level of technical stress of operating room nurses, the higher the level of job burnout(r=0.642,P<0.01). The higher the level of psychological capital of operating room nurses, the lower the level of job burnout(r=-0.586,P<0.01). The higher the level of psychological capital of operating room nurses, the lower the technical stress(r=-0.592,P<0.01). The psychological capital of operating room nurses had a partial mediating effect between technical stress and job burnout(mediating effect value was 0.239),accounting for 40.78% of the total effect. Conclusion The technical stress and job burnout of operating room nurses are at a high level.
