Abstract: Objective To explore the current situation and latent profiles of self-compassion among nursing undergraduates in Guangdong Province, and analyze the influencing factors of different profile categories. Methods A total of 725 nursing undergraduates from six colleges in Guangdong Province were selected for the survey from June to September 2022 by convenience sampling method. The general information questionnaire, the self-compassion scale, admission and action questionnaire(second edition),Connor-Davidson resilience scale, social support rating scale were used to conduct the survey, and the data were analyzed. Results The total self-compassion score of 725 nursing undergraduates in Guangdong Province was(40.41±6.07)points,the total experiential avoidance score was (23.38±7.72)points,the total psychological resilience score was(83.81±16.16)points,the total social support score was(35.56±6.28)points.Nursing undergraduates' self-compassion could be categorized into three latent profiles:good self-control group(37.93%),self-blame tendency group(31.45%),and positive adaptation group(30.62%). Grade, per capita monthly family income, experiential avoidance, psychological resilience, and social support were all influencing factors of the self-compassion profile category for nursing undergraduates(all P<0.05). Conclusion The level of 725 nursing undergraduates' self-compassion in Guangdong Province is upper medium with heterogeneity.Nursing educators and managers should focus on self-blame tendency group nursing students and develop targeted interventions and supports based on the influencing factors of different latent profile in order to improve nursing students' self-compassion.
