Abstract:

Objective To understand the current status and influencing factors of the health emergency response capacity of emergency responders in primary disease control and prevention institutions(CDC) in Tianjin after natural disasters,so as to make suggestions for the improvement of emergency response capacity. Methods From July to September 2024,a convenience sampling method was used to select 955 emergency personnel from CDC in 16 districts of Tianjin for a questionnaire survey to understand their emergency response capabilities after natural disasters, and the data were analyzed. Results The overall score of the emergency response ability of 955 emergency responders from primary CDC in each district of Tianjin was (83.26±19.42)points. The number of times participating in natural disaster emergency response capacity training, the number of times participating in natural disaster emergency response exercises, and whether or not they had experience in on-site investigation and disposal were the main influencing factors of the health emergency response capacity of emergency responders from primary CDC in Tianjin after natural disasters(all P<0.05). Conclusion The post-disaster health emergency response capacity of emergency personnel for natural disasters should be improved by increasing the intensity of natural disaster health emergency response capacity training and drills.
