Abstract: Objective To understand the factors affecting the current status of professional quality of life of nurses in grade-A tertiary hospitals in Tianjin, and to provide a reference for hospital management departments to construct a plan for high-level professional quality of life of nurses in grade-A tertiary hospitals. Methods From March to May 2023,a convenience sampling method was used to select 445 registered nurses from three grade-A tertiary hospitals in Tianjin as survey subjects. The general information questionnaire,Chinese nurses stress scale(CNSS),perceived organization support scale(POS),occupational identity scale(OIS),and nurse work-related quality of life(WRQoL) were used for the questionnaire survey, and the data were analyzed. Results The total score of professional quality of life of 445 nurses in grade-A tertiary hospitals in Tianjin was (116.22±32.63) points, and the average score of the items was (3.52±0.99)points. Among the 7 dimensions, the item with the highest average score was work evaluation score, which was (3.75±1.02)points,and the item with the lowest average score was work family balance, which was (3.29±1.45)points. The quality of professional life was negatively correlated with work pressure(r=-0.371,P<0.01),and positively correlated with organizational support and professional identity(r=0.555,0.490,both P<0.01).The factors that entered the regression equation included age, educational level, average monthly household income, length of service, professional title, work pressure, organizational support, and occupational identity(F=59.057,P<0.01),which could explain 54.1% of the total variation. Conclusion The main influencing factors on the professional quality of life of nurses in grade-A tertiary hospitals in Tianjin include age, educational level, per capita monthly household income, length of service, professional title, work pressure, organizational support, and occupational identity, which are generally above average. It is recommended that hospital managers attach importance to the quality of professional life of nurses, improve their organizational support and professional identity through multiple channels, reduce their work pressure, and thus maximize the improvement of the quality of professional life of nurses.
