Abstract: Objective To understand the current status and influencing factors of devotion to work views of undergraduate nursing students, and provide reference for nursing educators to develop relevant professional value cultivation programs. Methods From October to November 2023,convenience sampling method was used to select 272 undergraduate nursing students from a medical school in Tianjin as the research subjects.General information questionnaire, evaluation scale of devotion to work for undergraduate nursing students, academic buoyancy scale, questionnaire of learning engagement for college students, and professional identity questionnaire for nurse students were used for the survey, and the data were analyzed. Results The total score of undergraduate nursing students' view of devotion to work was (118.15±18.35)points,and the total score of nursing students' view of devotion was positively correlated with the total score of daily academic buoyancy, the total score of learning engagement, and the total score of professional identity(all P<0.01).Whether they liked the nursing program and whether there were medical staff at home had an effect on undergraduate nursing students' views of devotion to work(both P<0.05),and the daily academic buoyancy, learning engagement and professional identity can explain 58.2% of the variance in undergraduate nursing students' views of devotion to work. Conclusion The devotion to work views of 272 undergraduate nursing students in a medical college in Tianjin is at a moderate to high level. The main influencing factors of devotion to work views of undergraduate nursing students are whether they like the nursing profession, whether there are medical staff at home, daily academic buoyancy, learning engagement, and professional self-efficacy.Nursing educators can start from the above perspectives to explore the reform program of curriculum ideology and education,in order to enhance the professional dedication of nursing students and cultivate high-quality nursing reserve forces.
