Research progress on sleep disorders in ICU nurses

Abstract: Intensive care unit(ICU) nurses,as direct caregivers of critically ill patients,if suffer from long-term sleep disorders,which not only affect their own health,but also affect their work attention,increase the risk of nursing errors,reduce nursing quality,and threaten the safety of patients' lives. This article provides a systematic review of the current research status,evaluation tools,influencing factors,and adverse effects on sleep disorders among ICU nurses both domestically and internationally. The aim is to provide theoretical guidance for improving sleep disorders among ICU nurses and enhancing the quality of medical care in China.
