Research progress on job control of nurses

Abstract: :Faced with the growing health and care needs of the people,nursing staff in China are still in a shortage state. High workload,tense interpersonal relationships,low job satisfaction and professional identity may all be reasons for nurses to resign. Job control refers to the individual's ability to cope and control their own work and work environment. A high level of job control is beneficial for improving nurses' job satisfaction,promoting their innovative behavior,and reducing job burnout and turnover rates. Therefore,this article reviews the concept,theoretical basis,evaluation tools,current situation,influencing factors,outcome variables,and improvement strategies of nurses' job control,in order to provide reference for improving the level of nurses' job control.
