Abstract: Objective To analyze the current status, hotspots, and trends of research on mental health literacy in China, and provide reference for implementing intervention measures to improve mental health literacy. Methods Conduct a comprehensive search of relevant research on mental health literacy from the establishment of the China National Knowledge Infrastructure database until November 2023,and use CiteSpace software to visually analyze the authors, research institutions, keywords, etc. included in the research literature. Results A total of 146 articles were included for analysis. The highest number of articles published in 2023 was 40. The authors with the highest number of publications were WAN Yuhui and PING Zhiguang, each publishing 4 articles. The institution with the highest number of publications was the School of Nursing and Health of Zhengzhou University, with a total of 5 articles. The highest frequency of words such as mental health, college students, and influencing factors were 19,16,and 11,respectively. Conclusion There is still relatively little research on mental health literacy in our country, and the overall number of publications is showing an increasing trend year by year.
