Research progress on transition shock in intern nursing students

Abstract: The nursing students during clinical internships may experience role conflicts and pressure due to discrepancies between their expectations and clinical reality. If not intervened in a timely manner,it will lead to an increase in nurse turnover rate and exacerbate the shortage of nurses at the current stage. This article systematically elaborates on the research progress of transition shock for intern nursing students at home and abroad from five aspects:the concept and related theoretical research of transition shock,the reasons for transition shock for intern nursing students,evaluation tools for transition shock for intern nursing students,intervention measures for transition shock,and the relationship between transition shock and different variables,providing valuable reference and reference for effectively responding to the transition shock of intern nursing students.
