Analysis on occupational burnout and influencing factors of basic public health service personnel in suburban of Kunming City

Abstract: Objective To understand the current situation of job burnout among basic public health service workers in the suburbs of Kunming City,analyze its influencing factors,and put forward some reference suggestions. Methods From October to December 2020,the cluster sampling was used to randomly select basic public health service workers in the suburbs of Kunming City,their job burnout was measured by the Maslach burnout inventory-general survey(MBI-GS),and the data were analyzed. Results Among 244 basic public health service workers,the detection rate of job burnout was 54.10%,and mild burnout accounted for the largest proportion(40.57%).The scores of basic public health service personnel with different annual income,training skill frequency,and promotion space were compared in various dimensions of job burnout,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).The main influencing factors of job burnout were annual income,promotion space and health status. Conclusion Over 50% of the basic public health service workers in the suburbs of Kunming City suffer from job burnout,and various intervention measures are needed to alleviate job burnout.
