Abstract: The global incidence rate and mortality of cancer are rising rapidly with the aggravation of environmental pollution and population aging, and the demand for chemotherapy in cancer patients has also increased accordingly, but as we all know, chemotherapy drugs are various, special in nature, mostly cytotoxic. In recent years, more and more studies have shown that long-term exposure to anti-tumor drugs will also pose a potential threat to the physical and mental health of clinical nursing workers engaged in tumor chemotherapy. Mastering comprehensive chemotherapy occupational protection knowledge and measurescan effectively reduce or avoid occupational exposure risks. Therefore,by reviewing the research on occupational protection management of chemotherapy at home and abroad, this article intends to review the occupational protection content, occupational hazards and protection status of chemotherapy drugs, and chemotherapy protection management measures,in order to improve the occupational protection awareness of clinical cancer chemotherapy nursing staff, avoid or reduce occupational exposure in clinical work, protect their physical and mental health, and improve the comprehensive labor efficiency of hospitals and society.
