Research progress on influencing factors of health-related quality of life on elderly patients with chronic diseases

Abstract

Abstract: Population ageing is one of the most important medical and socio-economic challenges worldwide. As the main group of chronic diseases,the elderly are affected by chronic diseases and their physiological functions are declining. Those can make a serious impact on the body and psychology of elderly patients with chronic diseases,resulting in changes on their life quality. This study review the definition,evaluation tools and influencing factors of health-related quality of life on the elderly patients with chronic diseases at home and abroad,aiming to provide a theoretical basis for improving the health level and life quality of elderly patients with chronic diseases.
