Abstract: Objective To investigate and analyze the characteristics of human body components and body mass index(BMI) status of Air Force aircrews in a certain Air Force Aviation Corps,so as to provide scientific basis for the health of aircrews. Methods From April to October 2023,504 Air Force aircrews were tested for body composition, and the test data were analyzed according to different age groups and aircraft types. Results The differences in weight, body fat mass,BMI and body fat percentage among aircrews of different age groups were statistically significant(all P<0.05). Among the 504 aircrews,1.19% were underweight,73.61% were normal,18.85% were overweight, and 6.35% were obese. The difference in BMI distribution between different age groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),but the difference in BMI distribution between different aircraft groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05). Conclusion Problems such as BMI emaciation, overweight and obesity of aircrews need to be solved urgently. Aircrews should be provided with hygiene education and guidance on diet and exercise to urge them to perform personal health maintenance.
