Abstract:

Objective To understand the sleep status and influencing factors of peacekeeping officers and soldiers, provide a basis for targeted intervention of sleep disorders. Methods By using the general information questionnaire and the Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI),a cross-sectional survey was conducted on the sleep quality of 213 peacekeeping officers and soldiers of a certain unit in September 2021 and August 2022 respectively,to analyze the influencing factors of sleep quality. Results The total PSQI score[MP25P75)] of peacekeeping officers and soldiers before the task was 2.00(1.00,4.00)points,while the total PSQI score[MP25P75)] in the context of crisis was 3.00(1.00,6.00)points,and the difference was statistically significant(Z=-3.068,P=0.05). The age, marital status, number of children, educational level, job title, position and peacekeeping experience were the factors affecting the sleep quality of peacekeeping officers and soldiers in the context of crisis. Conclusions The sleep quality of peacekeeping officers and soldiers needs to be improved, and work experience is an important influencing factor.
