Visual analysis of research on electronic health literacy among older adults in the context of silver economy

Abstract:

Objective To summarize the research status and hot spots of electronic health literacy of the elderly in the context of silver economy,in order to provide reference and direction for the research in related fields. Methods By searching Web of Science core database,China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),Wanfang and VIP database,the relevant literature about the electronic health literacy of the elderly in each database was obtained,and CiteSpace software was used to draw the visualization map of document publishing organization,publication author and keyword and keyword highlight map. Results From 2021 to 2024,the number of documents published in both Chinese and English had increased significantly.A total of 28 core authors were identified in the Chinese literature,among whom the team led by LIU Siqi and GAO Zhaorong demonstrated relatively close collaboration. A total of 30 core authors were identified in the English-language literature,with the most closely collaborating team being centered around SHEN Z,SHI S,CHOI E P H and GUO N. Shanghai,Nanjing and Hong Kong Special Administrative Region had close cooperative relationships among institutions. "The elderly""health literacy" and "influencing factors" were high-frequency keywords in this field. Conclusion With the proposal of silver economy,relevant government departments and medical institutions at all levels should grasp the needs of the elderly health,popularize the electronic health information,and promote healthy aging through network media. Encourage authors and publishing institutions to strengthen cooperation,promote the diversified combination of research;Strengthen the research on the combination of Internet,health information and health education,and focus on the application of electronic health information in the health management of chronic diseases and common diseases of the elderly.
