Research progress on nurses suffering from workplace psychological violence and coping strategies

Abstract:

Workplace psychological violence suffered by nurses not only affects their physical and mental health,but also leads to high job burnout rate,resignation rate and incidence of nursing errors and accidents,which is not conducive to the long-term stable development of nursing team and the improvement of nursing service quality. This article reviews the concept,manifestations,characteristics,current situation and coping measures taken by victims of psychological violence in the workplace for nurses,as well as the assessment tools and influencing factors of psychological violence,and put forward strategies and suggestions to improve nurses' workplace psychological violence. In order to arouse nursing managers' attention to the psychological violence suffered by nurses in the workplace,and to provide reference for the future research on psychological violence in the workplace of nurses and for nursing managers to formulate relevant intervention and prevention measures.
