Research progress on psychological capital intervention for patients with chronic diseases

Abstract: The complex etiology and long course of chronic diseases may affect the psychological health of patients. Psychological capital is a psychological health indicator that can be improved through psychological capital intervention models,mindfulness interventions,exercise interventions,and other methods. The existing psychological capital intervention programs have played a certain promoting role in improving patients' psychological capital levels,reducing negative emotions,and maintaining physical and mental health. This article provides a review of the intervention forms,content,and effects of psychological capital research on chronic disease patients both domestically and internationally. It analyzes the shortcomings of existing intervention research in order to guide clinical practice and provide reference for future research in emphasizing patient psychological capital and exploring the development of scientific,reasonable,acceptable,and feasible intervention plans.
