Abstract: Objective To analyze the individual dose monitoring level of radiologists in a medical institution of Jining City from 2017-2021,provide support for targeted health education for radiation personnel. Methods The thermoluminescence dose equipment was used to monitor the individual dose of occupational external exposure of radiation workers. The radiation workers in a medical institution of Jining City from 2017-2021 were selected as the survey objects,to analyze the individual dose monitoring results in five consecutive years. Results From 2017 to 2021,totally 1 685 radiation workers were monitored, and the annual collective effective dose of all radiation workers was 1 608.12 mSv,the annual effective dose per capita was 0.95 mSv. There was no person whose annual effective dose per capita exceeded 5 mSv/a. There was statistically significant difference in annual effective dose per capita among different years(H=4.168,P<0.01). The individual annual effective dose in 2021 was the highest, which was 1.70 mSv. The individual annual effective dose in ≥5 years of working age group was higher than that in <5 years of working age group, while the individual annual effective dose in 10-<20 and ≥20 years of working age groups was higher than that in 5-<10 years of working age group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01). There was statistically significant difference in the individual annual effective dose among different occupational categories(H=187.603,P<0.01). The individual annual effective dose of nuclear medicine workers was the highest(1.06 msv). Conclusions From 2017 to 2021,the personal dose of radiation workers in a medical institution of Jining City is at lower level, and and the management of radiation protection should focus on nuclear medicine, the age group ≥50 years old and ≥5 years of working age group. For interventional radiologists,it is recommended that the ophthalmic lens dose monitoring should be carried out in combination with the actual situation. For nuclear medicine personnel, especially who is exposed to 131I,it is recommended that the internal exposure monitoring should be taken to more accurately evaluate personal dose.
