Study on sleep quality and influencing factors of officers and soldiers of a troop stationed on plateau

Abstract: Objective To understand the sleep quality of officers and soldiers of a certain unit stationed on the plateau,analyze its influencing factors. Methods From November to December in 2021,a questionnaire was conducted on 108 officers and soldiers stationed on the plateau by using the basic data questionnaire,the Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI) and the multidimensional fatigue inventory-20(MFI-20),and the data were analyzed. Results The total sleep quality score of 108 officers and soldiers stationed on the plateau was (8.61±3.78)points,of which 50% had poor sleep quality. The multiple regression analysis showed that marital status and fatigue were the main factors affecting the sleep quality of officers and soldiers stationed on the plateau(all P<0.05). Conclusion The sleep quality of officers and soldiers stationed on the plateau environment is affected by marital status and fatigue,so targeted measures can be taken to improve their sleep quality.
