Progress of research on correlation between shift patterns and occupational overweight or obesity in nurses

Abstract: Based on a risk management and population health framework,this study reviews the three major determinants of shift system affecting nurses' occupational overweight and obesity:occupational environment,biogenetics and social behavior,and explores the relationship between nurses' shift patterns and overweight or obesity to provide reference basis for improving related theoretical studies,rationalizing the allocation of health human resources,safeguarding the health of health care providers,improving the quality of health care services,and promoting the construction of a healthy China.
