Investigation of emotional domain ability among interventional room nurses in Sichuan Province

Abstract: Objective To understand the status of emotional domain ability among interventional room nurses in Sichuan Province,analyze its influencing factors. Methods From January to May 2022,the nurses in the intervention room of Sichuan Province were investigated by using the general data questionnaire,the nurses' affective ability scale and the management care assessment scale,and the data were analyzed. Results A total of 198 interventional room nurses in Sichuan Province were investigated. The score of emotional domain ability among them was (91.46±13.45)points,and manager care score was (117.67±12.46)points. There was a positive correlation emotional domain ability and manager care among interventional room nurses in Sichuan Province(r=0.636,P<0.01). The main factors affecting the emotional domain ability of nurses in the intervention room were manager care,educational background, working years,professional title and age(β=0.252-0.358,all P<0.05). Conclusions The emotional domain ability of nurses in the intervention room in Sichuan Province is at a moderate to upper level. The medical institutions should provide more care to nurses in nursing work from the perspective of manager care,and focus on the emotional domain ability of nurses with lower education,shorter working years,lower professional titles,and younger age,so as to identify the factors that affect their emotional domain ability in time,actively take response measures,and further improve the emotional domain ability level of intervention room nurses.
