Research progress on assessment tools of cognitive ability

Abstract

Abstract: ：The cognitive ability assessment refers to the process of quantitative description of individual cognitive ability by using certain tools,which are important factors affecting the assessment results. The development of cognitive assessment tools has gone through the period of scale assessment and is now in the period of computerized cognitive assessment. The paper reviews the cognitive assessment tools used in different periods and their advantages and disadvantages,mainly introduces the current cognitive assessment tools and analyzes the existing problems. Future research of cognitive assessment tools can focus on enriching assessment contents,improving assessment efficiency and ecological validity.
