Abstract: Due to long-term exposure to extreme environments such as low-pressure hypoxia, strong radiation and large temperature difference, the impact on physiological rhythm, nervous system and cognitive function of altitude workers is far more than ordinary people. The sleep is an important form of human life-sustaining activities, and high altitude sleep disorder is one of the most common altitude sickness, and it is a key issue in altitude medical research. Although great progress has been made in the mechanism and intervention measures of sleep disorders at high altitude, there are still many problems that have not been solved. Therefore, this paper provides a basis for improving the sleep status of plateau operators and formulating scientific and effective sleep guarantee strategies through the impact of plateau environment on sleep, the mechanism of sleep disorders and relevant intervention measures.
