The differences in occupational respect scores among neurology nurses with different educational backgrounds, professional titles, monthly income, and marital status were statistically significant(all P<0.05). The differences in psychological capital scores among neurology nurses of different ages, professional titles, and years of service were statistically significant(all P<0.05). There were statistically significant differences in occupational burnout scores among neurology nurses of different ages, professional titles, length of service, monthly income, and marital status(all P<0.05). The score of professional respect was positively correlated with the score of psychological capital(rs=0.588,P<0.01),and negatively correlated with the score of occupational burnout(rs=-0.628,P<0.01). There was a negative correlation between psychological capital score and occupational burnout score(rs=-0.635,P<0.01). The psychological capital of neurology nurses partially mediated the relationship between professional respect and occupational burnout, with a mediation effect of -0.251,accounting for 46.31% of the total effect.
