Abstract: Objective To understand the influencing factors of work-related musculoskeletal disorders among nursing staff in China, and to provide reference basis for the prevention and intervention of work-related musculoskeletal disorders in clinical nurses. Methods Computer retrieval of Web of Science,Pubmed,Cochrane Library,Embase,China Knowledge Network Database(CNKI), China Biomedical Literature Database(CBM),Wanfang Full Text Database and Weipu Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database(VIP) were used to collect relevant studies on the influencing factors of occupational musculoskeletal disorders in clinical nurses in China published from the establishment of the database to September 2023. The screening of all literature, extraction of relevant information, and quality evaluation were independently completed by two researchers, and meta-analysis was conducted using RevMan 5.4 software. Results A total of 26 papers were included, with a total sample size of 21 069 cases, and 8 relevant influencing factors were extracted.Meta-analysis results showed that age(OR=1.49,95%CI:1.24-1.79,P<0.01),length of service(OR=1.82,95%CI:1.57-2.11,P<0.01),workplace breaks(OR=0.68,95%CI:0.56-0.83,P<0.01),physical exercise(OR=0.71,95%CI:0.63-0.80,P<0.01),bending at work(OR=1.42,95%CI:1.25-1.62,P<0.01),and work fatigue(OR=1.88,95%CI:1.56-2.26,P<0.01) were the influencing factors in occupational musculoskeletal disorders in clinical nurses, and the difference were statistically significant(all P<0.05). Conclusion Age,length of service, workplace breaks, physical exercise, bending at work, and work fatigue are the factors influencing the occurrence of occupational musculoskeletal disorders in nursing staff.Bending at work, age ≥35 years, length of service ≥11 years, and work fatigue are the risk factors for the occurrence of occupational musculoskeletal disorders in clinical nurses, and protective factors are adequate work breaks and regular physical exercise.Early prevention measures can be taken to reduce the occurrence of occupational musculoskeletal disorders in clinical nurses.
