Research progress on influencing factors and evaluation tools of active aging at home and abroad

Abstract: With the intensification of the global aging trend,scholars at home and abroad are paying more and more attention to the influencing factors and evaluation tools of active aging. Active aging emphasizes that elderly people can actively and healthily participate in social,economic,cultural,and public affairs to maintain physical and mental health,realize self-worth,and is an important indicator for measuring the quality of life in later years. The factors that affect the positive aging of the elderly include physiological health,psychological health,social adaptation,productive activities,spiritual and cultural activities,physical activity,economic security,policies and regulations,community environment,paid or unpaid work,life events,and family environment. Among them,the cross factors of learning,social interaction,emotions,spirit,and exercise are the focus of multi factor analysis of positive aging at home and abroad. This article is based on previous research and provides a review of the influencing factors and evaluation tools of active aging both domestically and internationally. It delves into the specific mechanisms and pathways of the influencing factors of active aging in China,with the aim of providing theoretical references for further research and practical promotion of active aging in China.
