Abstract: Nickel is a common element in production and living environment, and excessive exposure to nickel can cause a series of health hazards to the population. With the improvement of people's lives, the prevalence of diabetes in the world is becoming increasingly serious, and has become an important public health problem. The study found that there may be a correlation between nickel exposure and abnormal blood glucose metabolism, but this correlation is still controversial. This article summarizes the research progress on nickel induced abnormal blood glucose metabolism by collecting and analyzing the research results on the effects of nickel on abnormal blood glucose metabolism, providing reference for exploring the endocrine metabolic toxicity of heavy metals
