Abstract: Objective To understand the occupational burnout status of nurses in the rehabilitation department and analyze the impact of electronic communication and psychological disengagement on occupational burnout during non-working hours. Methods From September to October 2023,a convenience sampling method was used to select 172 nurses from rehabilitation departments in 6 grade-A tertiary hospitals in Xi'an as research subjects, the non-working time electronic communication scale, psychological disengagement scale and occupational burnout scale were used for the survey, and data were analyzed. Results The non-working time electronic communication score of rehabilitation department nurses was (47.62±8.85)points,the psychological disengagement score was (8.52±2.43)points,and the occupational burnout score was (62.53±12.47)points. The occupational burnout of rehabilitation department nurses was positively correlated with non-working time electronic communication(r=0.593,P<0.01),and negatively correlated with psychological detachment(r=-0.584,P<0.01). The non-working time electronic communication was negatively correlated with psychological detachment(r=-0.652,P<0.01). Non-working time electronic communication and psychological detachment could jointly explain 36.4% of the variation in occupational burnout among rehabilitation department nurses. Conclusion The occupational burnout of rehabilitation department nurses is at a moderate level,non-working time electronic communication and psychological detachment have a significant impact on occupational burnout. Reducing non-working time electronic communication and psychological detachment can help reduce their occupational burnout level.
