Abstract: Objective To explore the impact of occupational resilience on occupational compromise among nurses with a master's degree in grade-A tertiary hospital in Hunan Province, provide reference for adopting targeted measures to alleviate the incidence of occupational compromise among nurses. Methods From April to June 2024,the general information questionnaire, occupational resilience scale, and occupational compromise scale were used to survey 300 nurses with a master's degree in eight grade-A tertiary hospitals in Hunan Province, and the data were analyzed. Results The occupational resilience score of nurses with a master's degree was (12.073±2.239)points,and the occupational compromise score was (43.263±9.254)points. The occupational resilience was negatively correlated with occupational compromise(r=-0.391--0.519,P<0.01). The years of work experience, departmental work atmosphere, family support for work, and occupational resilience were influencing factors of occupational compromise among nurses with a master's degree(all P<0.05),and the occupational resilience independently explained 17.1% of the variance in occupational compromise. Conclusions The occupational resilience score of nurses with a master's degree in grade-A tertiary hospitals in Hunan Province is at a medium to lower level, and the occupational compromise is at a medium to upper level. The managers should pay attention to the occupational resilience of nurses with a master's degree and take relevant measures to improve occupational resilience, thereby reducing the incidence of occupational compromise.
