Research progress on fall alertness in older adults

Abstract

Abstract: With the increase of age,the probability of falls in the elderly increases,as serious injuries caused by falls can increase the risk of patient death. It is necessary to take effective measures to prevent falls in the elderly. This paper reviews the assessment tools of the elderly's fall awareness,the factors affecting the elderly's fall awareness,and how to intervene in the elderly's fall awareness,aiming to provide a reference for medical staff to assess the fall awareness of the elderly,take targeted measures to prevent falls,promote the self-perception of the elderly's fall awareness,and improve the awareness of the elderly to prevent falls.
