Abstract: Objective To investigate the current situation and correlation of social support,post-traumatic growth, and work alienation among in-service uremic workers in Beijing, and to provide reference for improving the physical and mental health of the in-service uremic workers group. Methods From January 2023 to June 2024,a total of 216 in-service uremic workers admitted to Beijing Rehabilitation Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University were selected as the research subjects. The general information questionnaire, social support rating scale,post-traumatic growth inventory, and work alienation scale were used for survey and the data were analyzed. Results The scores of social support,post-traumatic growth and work alienation among 216 in-service uremic workers were (42.37±5.55),(62.23±12.13) and (64.76±14.41)points. Social support was positively correlated with post-traumatic growth in in-service uremic workers(r=0.577,P<0.01),negatively correlated with work alienation(r=-0.548,P<0.01),and post-traumatic growth was negatively correlated with work alienation(r=-0.585,P<0.01). Mediation analysis revealed that post-traumatic growth played a mediating role between social support and work alienation in in-service uremic workers, with a mediation effect value of -0.283,accounting for 45.6% of the total effect. Conclusion Social support can not only directly reduce the sense of work alienation among in-service uremic workers, but also indirectly affect their sense of work alienation by enhancing post-traumatic growth.
