Abstract: Objective To understand the status of anxiety level of medical students in a university in Wuhan, and to analyze its influencing factors. Methods A total of 243 clinical undergraduates from a university in Wuhan were selected from February 2024 to March 2024,and were surveyed using general demographic data and anxiety self-assessment scales. Independent t-tests and one-way ANOVA combined with multivariate linear regression were used to analyze their relevant influencing factors. Results The anxiety level score of 243 medical students in a university in Wuhan was (49.43±6.69)points,which was higher than the national normative level[(37.23±12.58)points].Comparison of anxiety levels among medical students of different grades, professional satisfaction and family financial status showed statistically significant differences(F=2.830,9.899,5.230,all P<0.05). Grade, professional satisfaction and family financial status were independent influences on medical students' anxiety(β=2.540,-1.260,3.088,all P<0.05). Conclusion The anxiety level of medical students in a certain university in Wuhan is generally high, and different grades, professional satisfaction and family economic status are influencing factors.
