Abstract: Objective To conduct a quantitative analysis of the related literature on the prevention and treatment of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome(AIDS) with traditional Chinese medicine in China,so as to understand the research status and development trend in this field. Methods Chinese journals on traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of AIDS from January 2013 to December 2022 were searched in China National Knowledge Infrastructure,Wanfang Database,VIP database and China Biology Medicine Disc, and the number of published papers, authors, institutions and keywords were analyzed and presented in the way of atlas. Results A total of 770 valid documents were included, with the highest number of publications in 2013 reaching 129,followed by fluctuations and a decreasing trend in the number of publications thereafter. The top three authors in terms of publication volume were XU Liran(118 papers),GUO Huijun(102 papers),and XU Qianlei(68 papers).Research institutions were mainly provincial traditional Chinese medicine universities and affiliated hospitals, with the institution with the highest publication volume being the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Chinese Medicine, accounting for 28.96%(223/770) of the total publications, making it a core institution in this field of research.Co-occurrence and clustering analysis of keywords showed that from January 2013 to December 2022,research in this field focused on the construction and application promotion of the traditional Chinese medicine pattern differentiation treatment and efficacy evaluation system.Keyword emergence and timeline analysis indicated that collaborative treatment had emerged as a new hot topic in this field in recent years. Conclusion This field has formed a relatively stable research team and collaborative network, with research showing continuity and systematicity, aligning with the development model of evidence-based medicine.Collaborative treatment,as a current emerging hot topic,is predicted to become a new research focus and trend in studies related to collaborative treatment drugs.
