The nurse-patient relationship was positively correlated with the score of professional mission(r=0.561-0.750,all P<0.05). The hierarchical regression analysis showed that marital status, professional title,self-rated health status,self-rated job satisfaction,nurse-patient relationship and professional mission were the main influencing factors of nurses' work engagement, among which nurse-patient relationship and professional mission independently explained 44.4% of the variation of work engagement.
