Abstract: Objective By investigating the operating room nurses in three grade-A tertiary hospitals in Guizhou Province,to understand the current status of self-regulated fatigue, work stress and sense of occupational safety among operating room nurses, and further analyze the correlation between these factors and sense of occupational safety,as well as various factors that affect sense of occupational safety. Methods From May to July 2024,using the convenience sampling method, the general information questionnaire, the self-regulation fatigue scale, the nurses' work stress scale, and the sense of occupational safety scale for operating room nurses were used to investigate operating room nurses in three grade-A tertiary hospitals in Guizhou Province, and the data were analyzed. Results The score of work stress,self-regulated fatigue and sense of occupational safety among operating room nurses was (92.99±9.31),(50.18±7.05) and (187.85±6.97)points,respectively. The Pearson correlation analysis showed that work stress and self-regulation fatigue were negatively correlated with occupational safety(all P<0.05). The multiple linear analysis showed that nurses' age, years of clinical nursing experience,gender,self-regulation fatigue, and work stress were all factors influencing the sense of occupational safety(all P<0.05). Conclusion Nurses' age, years of clinical nursing experience, gender,self-regulation fatigue and work stress are all factors influencing their sense of occupational safety. The managers should formulate targeted intervention strategies to enhance the sense of occupational safety of nurses in the operating room in order to minimize the loss of nursing talent.
