Abstract:

Objective To analyze the current situation of non-compliant tasks, psychological detachment and work-family conflict of nurses in trauma emergency surgery department, and to study the mediating role of psychological detachment between non-compliant tasks and work-family conflict. Methods From August to September 2024,a convenience sampling method was used to select 186 nurses from the trauma emergency surgery departments of 10 grade-A tertiary comprehensive hospitals in Hebei Province as the survey subjects. The non-compliant task scale, psychological detachment scale, and work-family conflict scale were used for investigation and analysis. Results The scores of non-compliant tasks, psychological detachment and work-family conflict of nurses in trauma emergency surgery department were (27.39±5.48),(12.43±2.46) and (60.58±12.42)points. The influencing factors of non-compliant task scores of nurses in trauma emergency surgery department included age, professional title, nursing experience, marital status, average monthly income and average monthly number of shifts(all P<0.05). The influencing factors of psychological detachment scores of trauma emergency surgery nurses were gender, age, professional title, nursing experience, marital status, number of children, average monthly income, and average monthly number of shifts(all P<0.05). The influencing factors of work-family conflict scores of trauma emergency surgery nurses were age, professional title, nursing experience, marital status, number of children, average monthly income, and average monthly number of shifts(all P<0.05). There was a positive correlation between non-compliant tasks and work-family conflict among trauma emergency surgery nurses(r=0.604,P<0.01). Psychological detachment of trauma emergency surgical nurses was negatively correlated with work-family conflict and non-compliant tasks(r= -0.584,-0.512,both P<0.01). Psychological detachment of trauma emergency surgery nurses partially mediated the relationship between non-compliant tasks and work-family conflict, with a mediating effect value of 0.250,accounting for 42.81% of the total effect. Conclusion Psychological detachment plays a partial mediating role between non-compliant tasks and work-family conflict in trauma emergency surgery nurses. Reducing the level of non-compliant tasks and increasing the level of psychological detachment can help alleviate the level of work-family conflict in trauma emergency surgery nurses.
