Abstract: The human immunodeficiency virus self-testing(HIVST),as a complementary route to traditional human immunodeficiency virus(HIV) testing, has the advantages of convenience, privacy, and accuracy, and can improve HIV testing rates in key populations such as men who have sex with men(MSM). However, the process of HIVST for MSM population still faces many challenges such as limited testing resources and weak support system. The digital health, which is built on the basis of new-generation information technology, has the characteristics of borderlessness and strong interactivity, and provides new ideas for solving these challenges. This paper reviews the application of digital health in HIVST in MSM population, including an overview of digital health, forms of application, effects, reflections and prospects, aiming to provide reference for the application of digital health intervention in HIVST in MSM population in China.
