Abstract: Objective To explore the quality of life(QOL) and influencing factors among man who have sex with man living with HIV(MSM-HIV) in Huangpu District of Shanghai. Methods From March to September 2023,MSM-HIV were recruited in Huangpu District of Shanghai for a questionnaire survey. The QOL was assessed by the World Health Organization Quality of Life Questionnaire for HIV brief version(WHOQOL-HIV-BREF),and the influencing factors of their QOL were analyzed using multiple linear regression. Results Totally 55 MSM-HIV were included, with a total QOL score of(77.01±11.41)points,including physiological domain(11.95±2.21)points,psychological domain(11.65±2.57)points,independence domain(13.47±1.64)points,social relationship domain(12.78±2.63)points,environmental domain(13.32±2.61)points,and mental domain(13.84±3.33)points. Univariate analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in the QOL of MSM-HIV in different places of residence, education level, marital status, treatment time,self-rated health, and HIV/AIDS related-stigma and discrimination(all P<0.05). The results of multiple linear regression analysis indicated that self-rated good health was a positive factor affecting QOL,while feeling stigma and discrimination was a negative factor. Conclusion The QOL of MSM-HIV in Huangpu District of Shanghai is affected by many factors. Targeted work should be carried out to eliminate AIDS discrimination and improve the QOL of patients in an all-round way.
