Abstract:

Objective To apply the comprehensive risk assessment method for occupational disease hazards in workplaces to conduct comprehensive risk assessment for occupational disease hazards in coal enterprises, explore the scientificity of this method, understand the risk level of occupational disease hazards in coal enterprises, and improve management efficiency. Methods From February to December 2023,this study employed stratified sampling and systematic sampling to select 49 coal mining enterprises as pilot units. The risk matrix method was used to determine the comprehensive risk levels of occupational disease hazards in these pilot units. Results Among the study subjects,28 enterprises(57.1%) were classified as Grade III for occupational disease hazard exposure risk, while 21 enterprises(42.9%) were Grade II. In terms of occupational health management status,8 enterprises(16.3%) were rated as Grade C(<70 points),and 3 enterprises(6.1%) as Grade B(70-89 points). After comprehensive evaluation,8 enterprises(16.3%) were categorized as Class C for comprehensive risk of occupational disease hazards, and 26 enterprises(53.1%) as Class B. The severe Class C enterprises were predominantly large-scale coal mining enterprises, accounting for 12.2%,while Class B enterprises were also concentrated in large-scale enterprises, accounting for 46.9%. Conclusion This evaluation not only validates the effectiveness of the method, but also provides empirical data support and decision-making reference for precise prevention and control and scientific supervision of occupational disease hazards in the coal industry.
